27/03: Mattie... for shame!
Last night was an impromptu party for Mattie's birthday.
It was fun. Mattie claimed not to be drunk (but was), and hopefully he will read his new book 'The Average American Male'.
Things dissolved quickly for Matt. The shots helped I believe. The questionable logic that "it's my birthday so what ever I do or say goes" including questionable sexual harassing comments, pining over other certain volleyball waitresses (and their friends) not being there, debate if quitting his relationship of four+ years for GT would be worth it, and so forth. I attempted to persuade him to go to the strip club, for which he was totally on board initially, then that scattered to the wind in less than six minutes (kayla timed it).
The table of Keith, Kayla, Tim, and I was abandoned as Matt went to slurr-idly talk with GT's dad (about what I am not sure). That was amusing. GT was concerned because her dad enjoys Matt.
Eventually (after being gone for the better part of 30-40 minutes) GT and Matt come back to the table. I am on my way out, but GT persuades me with a round on her to stay and chat.
Flirty eyes between those two for sure.
Matt has also lost his moral high ground about how "it's not his fault she gets the wrong ideas - he has practically a fiance'!". Pretty much the new answer is "shut it! either knock it off or put up with it".
Random comment: Quote GT (because I said I would quote her ) "'Use Nare because it makes the skin baby smooth!". Yeah that comment was made after the new waitress girl showed up jabbering about her massage therapy diploma she received earlier that evening. And yes Travis, there was some veiled conversation before GT's comment about waxing one's woo-hoo.
