26/12: Oh Bubbi..
Over the last two days Bubbi has developed a serious raspy whine from the crank-shaftial-region. I was hoping it was just a bit of grim or the cold weather acting adversely on her... I guess the cold weather part is right, but my suspicions are a burned out bearing and/or cracked front oil seal. Shit.. fuck.. cheap in parts, heavy on the labor.
I was a bit annoyed my main auto shop was filled up to monday, so I opted for a place closer to my apartment. By and by I was forced to saunter home - a two mile hike in fog, puddle filled streets, and wet snow packed side walks. The only major concern.. well two concerns was: 1. double crossing 156th and maple to get to the south west corner, and 2. the access road parallel to Maple which tends to attract speedsters and morons. The latter wasn't too bad - I figure the morons and speedy kids driving down that were not up at 8.30 in the morning. Maple street was a bit daunting with having to hike up the ol' pant legs and jump over oily puddles and black snow. Either way I was home jiggity jig in thirty minutes.
Now off to clean my harddrive, do some laundry, some dishes, and install mah-videogame.
