After securing my evening free of MysteryNurse's texts I had to collapse a quick sketch of my new drawing down, hit the gym up (thus missing the first airing of the Season Finale ), and caught it on the second play. Wow. Clearly this is a 'real' show because the cast members kept referring to how "real" this is and emotional.

I had a feeling they would end great - Eric and Knight puked up ice cream and gummy bears (from some Creole Creamery in house challenge called the "The Tchoupitoulas Challenge"). Yes! More morning puking of liquidish ice cream and toppings!

Everyone one seemed to have some sort of closure be it with their radio internship, putting the finishing touches on a Habitat for Humanity house, or breaking up with boyfriends back at home. There was a under current that these wayward souls were reluctant to return to their broken lives they had a three month reprieve from. I am not sure if I have ever really heard a cast having this sort of loathing of taking "five steps back" into their normal lives sans the show.

The big thing was Ryan had to show back up for a final photo shoot at the house. That was funny because it highlighted how much he is loathed by the rest of the house as well as polishes his brand of crazy mean. I'll be waiting to see how the 'reunion' works out next week with this cat. The dude needs help... you can't act that sort of psychotic.

Some of the more telling statements would be Eric saying how he really enjoys everyone, but no one really ever 'knew' Ashlee. That's about the f'n truth.

Preston heads back to Boston with his monogamous man Marty. Jimmi and Knight are the last out of the house - Knight first then a bit later Jimmi. She was seen wandering their, now thoroughly trashed, house looking lost and confused with that semi mouth breathing look that usually is reserved for being really really drunk.

Over all a good season with some good issues presented and resolved. While the group as a whole lacked focus on a job or task, everyone pitched in (well everyone sans Ryan the douche) at the Homeless Shelter and Mission, or at the Habitat for Humanity. A few budding careers were pushed forward - though I am not sure if some of them will have the resolve to do much with them. The house dynamic was great and connected - converse to the Brooklyn (season 21) where the house divided along the guys versus the girls with everyone being bitter at the line crossers.

The consoling surrounding alcohol addiction, women battery, and drug abuse was a nice PSA.

Over all a good season.

Great - the next season (#25) will be back to Las Vegas... in a hotel pimped out suit. Ah... so NO2 was the relationship drama, and LV2 will be the alcohol infused drama.
