A while back one of our districts was in a bind. The found that copying to new over and over again did not remove the references in the details to the original detail list. In effect - they fill out one screen (with one to many lines of detail), copy to new, delete the copied lines, and add new ones actually over wrote the original detail lines too.

Whoops. Long standing bug no one else has ever noticed (it came up due to the specific type of items that site was using).

Support didn't really help so they back channeled me. Nifty. A quick meeting with the new current lead developer and we found the issue and a work around for the mean time. Sweet. That project and continue working and making $$.

A few days after that the individual who found the issue wanted to send a 'thank you' email to my boss and the lead's boss. Cool. A few names and off they go. A super nice email comes back with me and the lead CC'd on it.

Now my buddy's boss writes back a very nice reply to it... and there is no word from my boss. Hmm. The bug-finder emailed me today and asked if my boss hated me. I was unsure the context until she showed me the passive receipt on the 'thank you' email she sent out - it showed Jefe having "deleted email without reading it".

Ouch. That stings Jefe.
