- outsource-guys make hulk smash
- bloopers - will he ever be on time?
- financial tightening
- training..

I am getting a bit testy with having to hold our damn out-sourced folks hands on simple and logical issues. Seriously people.. when you have columnA and columnB of a spread sheet... and there are a few rows that have columnA longer than it should be... and then you look at those rows and notice they are combining columnA with columnB... the answer to the problem is just remove the part added by mistake!

My morning routine now consists of me waiting to see when Jefe is going to launch a karate kick at bloopers for being perpetually late. I mean this dingbat of a merc gets hired on three or so weeks ago and you think the minimum he could do was be here on time for our 9am standup meeting! Maybe the department might review this hire and pull a 'psych!'.

The new underground news is work is reining in some of our spending for the department. I got the infamous email from Jefe that consisted of "see me". I wasn't sure if it was review time, a wag of the finger time, or what. It turns out it was bonus time.. by bonus I mean I will be making more than I was, but that just sorta glosses over how small it was. F'n economy. I keep saying we need to cut said stupid outsourced folks (mentioned above) and redirect that funding to us. If we start feeling the pinch they better get the boot.

Sure I'm a bit annoyed the the fist full of dollars (and I stress dollars) thrown at me, but there areas we could stop throwing money down a rat hole and out-sourced guys are one of them.

In other related news I believe I did get a 'wag of the finger' for not going to training this year (well outside the reporting service time suck). The simple answer "ah.. yeah.... I have been busting my balls on this project" seemed to gloss over the issue. If anyone knows of fun training or areas I can branch out in to - let me know.
