I am not sure if it is my illness crumbling to dust, the nice weather outside, or the fact I am currently in a "slow period" but this day just won't go any faster. I think i want to run around like a savage in the sun and fun, but can't that makes time tick by in an infuriating way.

So yes.. my illness is going away. Yeppie.
The trainees seem to enjoy the new CB version they are working on. So much in fact Jefe opted to not hang around there today and come back to us serfs. Oh, in a brilliant ploy I emailed Jefe yesterday asking how the training went, response to the system, any 'ooohs and ahhs' - that sort of thing... I also indicated she should totally microblog her time there on twitter. My email was really a goad to have her respond to me and tack on the rest of the team with her answer. Yup.. in fairly rout fashion she did just that. I take minor pleasure in know that jefe was pushed into letting everyone know how much I *care* about CB. As if. Ha!

Now I need to start working on my review while I languish here waiting to pounce on new bugs like a kitten pouncing.. on.. a.. bug. Wow.. that was a sad simile. Oh well.

I am also kicking around the idea of getting either new monitor or a netbook. My ol' trusty 19" NEC CRT while functional is about 6+ years old. A nice 22" wide screen LCD would be okay though I fear the color reproduction would screw with my drawing. What was that Mary? Yes I do draw. I post them to my not-facebook social networking group. I should hook up a deviant art page and throw them up on there for you facebookers.. but that might be too emo. That is not to be confused with having-a-live-journal-emo or any combination of those two.

The netbook would be a welcome mobility change.. I then can sit upside down on my futon typing out my book... and say take it to debate tournaments or out of town trips.. though the $350 or so for such a toy is questionable.
