16/01: Realworld Brooklyn update..

The episode was fairly mundane, and but started to uncover the serious stability issues folks have.
The Ryan/Chet faction were pulling pranks, and somehow that segwayed into Chet being overly curious about DolphinBoy’s need for Magnum condoms. It was getting into heavy spooky territory. Eventually *a* condom ended up on a banana and into the fish tank. Dolphin Boy freaks out and claims it was from his stuff. The group has whisper conversations and blames Chet. Chet is peeved that he has to hear he was blamed by everyone else sans actually accusation. He squares up against JD outside while eating breakfast setting up the incoming issues later.
Ryan was pretty quite this episode. There were some hilarious cuts of him in the confessional talking about how the “Lame bus pulled up and dropped off another boring conversation”. Katelynn and Sarah were babbling about something and the actual gist comes down to they should teach a class to educate the world.
Speaking of Katelynn she came out to Sarah while sarah was doing her hair. Wow. Boring. Later on Katelynn (with sarah driving) came out to Baya. Baya was shocked but rolled with it.
This episode focused a lot on Baya and her attempt to get into the Hip hop conservatory. WTF? Who names something a conservatory anyways? After being dismissed she was later called back and offered a spot. She didn’t like the way the intimidated her so she declined. Oh, she had an issue putting together a ‘dance resume’. WTF?! If this place is the shit as you claim some sort of fucking background in dance would be good. Either way she later progresses to this guy’s joint that JD knew. She’ll probably get accepted there and owe DolphinSlaver some head. I am also thinking Baya may have plateau’d for the season.
The Diva bitch from KC and gym boy were not seen nor heard of in this episode. *sigh* that means some time in the future we have to hear too much about them.
Chet’s mom and sisters came in. Her only good quote was when told that JD was gay she responded “well that is why he is so nice”. Chet’s mom seemed overly concerned htat Chet had eyeliner on when they went out clubbing in Chealse. Yeah.. she’s afraid her son will finally come out. Spooky. The foreshadowing here was Chet’s Madre asking JD to look out for Chet. Duh-duh-duuuuuuuuhhh…
JD breaks down and tells people that his dad was stealing his identity and was running around opening bank accounts. This was more ‘poor me’ commentary and he tantalized me with the innuendo about how he might have to go to court to press charges against his dad. Yes! Get him out of the house for a bit! Sadly his dad confessed and JD stays. For no particular reason JD went out and got schmammered (thanks L2 for that word) and came back giggily and recounting a tale about how he told off some Spanish speaking person who JD was buying chapstick from. I guess his overly slurred words confused the foreigner and JD told him to go speak English in not so nice terms. I guess this was some big victory for JD against immigrants – oh wait his folks were. Chet wanders in and tells JD that wasn’t a nice thing to do.. and how that was insensitive. JD yells “you don’t know where I am coming from” or something like that about how Chet the Whitie cannot understand why it is okay to yell at foreigners who do not speak English. The near fight is broken up, JD makes some comment like ‘that will be the last time he steps to me’, Chet responds with “let’s go outside right now”, Sarah breaks them up, and they go to sleep. Fuck. I was hoping JD would hit the bricks for a fight. In the morning JD and Chet sorta make up but they never directly address the problem. If JD gets randomly shmammered again I am certain there will be a fight. Probably with Ryan and JD will go down like a ton of Tuna. I would like to see JD hockey-check Katelynn just for CJ at the Skyybox… but probably not.
Not much else went on. Oh wait, that’s right JD conned Ryan into getting kissed on the lips by a drag queen then JD made a big production about how Ryan had to wipe his mouth out (clearly playing to the camera), and how Ryan will be more open to the world. Is that all it takes? DragQueen kisses for the KKK! JD is a lot of talk unless you are on his view of things. How annoying.
I remember the previews for next week being about the Divia bitch and Alpha Male. Greeaaaaaaat.
Career wise no one seems to be doing shit except Baya. Odd.
