Fun story - it's a pain in the ass to archive artwork. Serially. F'n local Dick Blick refused to stock the size I needed for an archival box and their only suggestions for the paints were to "keep them upright in a cool climate controlled area with this magical archival tissue paper on them". Ah.. what? Lady first off these will be in my closet. Semi climate controlled for sure light controlled. Second tissue paper? Are you kidding me? Sure I might as well start punching through the fucking canvas now with my fists of fury. Or furry. Depends if I am exercising my right to bear arms.

As it is I traipsed off to my local big box hardware store and thought I could find some nice plastic foam matting. Nope.. my choices were death green cling wrap in a roll a mile long or death green pustule bubble wrap about thirty five feet long. Fair enough. Sold. How disappointing. the new plan is to tape this magical unicorn paper on the front of each frame and then wrap securely in bubble wrap with liberal amounts of duct tape. As for the unframed purchased a nice archival box from dickblick's online store that should do the trick. Of course their six dollar minimum shipping said two to three fucking weeks. Ugh. Really? Fine .. gouge me for the nine dollar shipping so it gets here next week... like every other normal minimum shipping would take. Even Amazon failed me in finding a cheaper and faster option. Ugh.

On other news I might be doing side work for a local plumbers union. Not the cool Ben-10 kind but the local pipe layers and cleaners. More to come on that.
