22/05: Zune
I heart my zune so much! My gigabeat, while stellar, has only one upside against my zune - it would let me play things in a folder- tree structure. The zune insists on things in albums, artits, or song titles. This isn't a big paradigm shift except now I pay for the sins of my laziness.
There was a time that I did not fill out the ID3 tags when ripping a cd. The songs were numbered and labeled their title and dumped into a folder for the cd, and that folder was in a folder for the band. I always skipped filling out the ID3 tags and now I am tasked with going through all my music and adding them where I can.
I am going to try a few alternative ways of adding the ID3 tags quickly, and if that fails I am going to just make a .NEt program up to get them in an editable grid so I can copy/paste album info and auto number them.
Regardless I heart my zune so much. I even gave it a good name. It's a secret.
