28/01: Lean on me..
I was bumming through Scrub-way for dinner tonight when the Bill Withers' "Lean on Me" came over the radio. I caught myself with a big ass smile on my face and was tapping my foot. A quick survey of the three people behind the counter came up with all of them having a smile or grin on their face with out even knowing it. (One was making my sandwich, one was staring out the window, and the other at the register was waiting for the sandwich guy to be done with my sub).
I was pondering this down the road, but I fail to believe when people hear that song it does not invoke some sort of emotional response of either happiness or fondness for another place and time.
I just wanted to point out some goodness when I see it.
