I just pushed out our notification system turned advertisement for our work iPad/iPhone app. Ugh. Two hours last night reworking it while pacing in my lab coat. At midnight I cut a haggard visage, but well worth it as I let the beast loose this morning. A hundred and four emails, and within ten minutes four signed up. Not bad.. no crashes.. it runs quick... though now a days when I am welling with this much adulation I expect my knees to be cut out from under me.

I am now admitted to the CEH class. Whew. I was about to get all sullen and junk. About the class and stuff... AAAAAND STUFF!

My lab coat came in looking so awesome! I tried to affix my required patch to it, but the bastard is peeling off. Time to hand stitch that POS on for maximum durability and fun!

Hmm... 23.. no job.. psych major.. games twice a week... has overly sensitive guy friends that cry... indie comics and indie music.. knits nerd wear... diabetic... hmm. The numbers are not working out in this favor.

I don't know if it's more disturbing that I am certain I will die alone, or that I stopped caring that I will.

Awww hell I think BossMom just informed me I was approved (by the higher ups) for the five day 'Certified Ethical Hacker' class! It's on like donkey kong!

About twenty minutes ago I noticed a flicker in my peripheral, and then a loud klaxon. *le sigh* This better not be one of those tests.... or should I hope it to be one instead of a real fire?

Bah.. I am on the third floor with two large stairwells down to the first floor. I am certain we can barrel our way through. Either way a recorded voice indicates here was a fire reported in our building and at this time to not leave our desks. We were to remain put for further information. So of course some of us milled around, and others hit up the restroom before the inferno. I saved off all my work and made plans to direct people down the stairwell and to generally what needs to be done to save lives.

After the first ten minutes I mutter loudly "*sniff, sniff* Do I smell smoke?". Dan found it funny and giggle while BossMom's hearing is impeccable and she questioned what I said. When I said I was joking I do not think she was amused.

Either way it's been twenty five freaking minutes. Where's my damn update? Is there a firestorm of flames and heat stories above me? I... need... information!

It seems I was able to ride out Columbus Day with only minor liver damage. Kudos. That and Falloutboy took the place of my Lawyer for this holiday-among-days.

Awesome.

I must trudge to the bar myself tonight... being that my usual company of my Lawyer is traisping around the north east with an Indian Raiding party.

For future reference - Panda Express was a bad choice for dinner last night. I figured sure.. I want some chinese but I don't want to drive to my usual location. Why not try this drive through thing called Panda Express? Very bland and questionable Orange Chicken.

My damn lab coat won't be in until October 18th. Bastards. Slooooooooooooooow bastards. Ugh. What am I to do with this chemical spill? Wait for it to congeal into an irregularly shaped rhombus and it starts conversing on the nature of inorganic farming techniques?

Warehouse 13 really out did themselves on this season finale. Wow. Two hours of pure awesome. The artifacts became less of an important part as did setting details, but did those characters shine! Micca and HG Wells in.. interesting situations that could easily be interpreted as Pete being the third wheel. Jinks had his well assumed 'double agent' reveal... then death. Ouch. Claudia going, understandably, nuts then wanting to use metronome to bring back Jinks. Hasn't she learned anything from 'Pet Cemetery'!? Basically insane true character moments highlighted with the complete and utter destruction of the warehouse in a near-nuclear explosive inferno. Mrs Fredericks dying, HG gone, Artie's dog MIA(?!), and that damn pocket watch from McPherson. Ugh!!!!!!1asdfjkasdl;fjasdkl;fjasl;kfjaskl;dfjasdkl;fj I can't wait for next season. I gave a slow clap to that episode for how great it was. Yes.. 12.30am and I am slow clapping to my monitor. Deal.
